About us
The Quran is a light meant for every home.
We exist so that distance, a busy schedule or the lack of a good local teacher never stands between a family and the Word of Allah.
Our story
Built for families in the West.
Muslim parents in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia tell us the same thing: good Quran teachers are hard to find locally, evening madrasah means long drives after school, and in group classes children’s mistakes slip by unnoticed.
NurVerse was founded to solve exactly that. Every class is live and one-on-one, so the teacher hears every letter. Every teacher is certified and vetted. And every schedule is built around your time zone — not ours.
Today we teach 500+ families across four countries, from four-year-olds learning their first letters to adults completing Hifz.
Our teachers
How we choose who teaches your family.
Every NurVerse tutor passes the same five-step process before teaching a single class.
- 1
Credentials checked
Ijazah with a verified chain, or a degree from a recognised Islamic institution.
- 2
Recitation test
A senior Qari tests Makharij, Tajweed and fluency before anyone is shortlisted.
- 3
Teaching interview
A live demo lesson to assess patience, clarity and how they teach children.
- 4
English & communication
Clear spoken English so Western-raised children and reverts understand every explanation.
- 5
Ongoing quality reviews
Regular class reviews and parent feedback — teachers who fall short don’t stay.
