Most children finish it in 3–6 months with 3–4 short classes a week; adults are often faster. - [Quran Reading (Nazra)](https://nurversequran.com/courses/quran-reading/): Nazra is the stage of learning to read the Quran fluently from the Mushaf, applying Tajweed rules such as Madd, Ghunnah and Qalqalah as you read. It follows Noorani Qaida and usually takes 6–18 months to complete a full reading of the Quran. - [Tajweed](https://nurversequran.com/courses/tajweed/): Tajweed is the set of rules for pronouncing every letter of the Quran correctly — its articulation point (Makhraj), characteristics (Sifat), and rules such as Idgham, Ikhfa, Iqlab, Madd and Waqf. Learning it one-on-one online lets a qualified teacher correct mistakes in real time. - [Hifz (Memorisation)](https://nurversequran.com/courses/hifz/): Online Hifz uses the traditional three-part daily system: Sabaq (new lesson), Sabqi (revision of recent pages) and Manzil (rotation of everything memorised). Memorising the full Quran usually takes 2–5 years depending on age, daily time and consistency. ## Pages - [Home](https://nurversequran.com/) - [All courses](https://nurversequran.com/courses/) - [Pricing](https://nurversequran.com/pricing/) - [Free trial](https://nurversequran.com/free-trial/) - [Quran classes for kids](https://nurversequran.com/quran-classes-for-kids/) - [Quran classes for adults](https://nurversequran.com/quran-classes-for-adults/) - [Female Quran teacher](https://nurversequran.com/female-quran-teacher/) - [Online Quran classes in USA](https://nurversequran.com/online-quran-classes-usa/) - [Online Quran classes in UK](https://nurversequran.com/online-quran-classes-uk/) - [Online Quran classes in Canada](https://nurversequran.com/online-quran-classes-canada/) - [Online Quran classes in Australia](https://nurversequran.com/online-quran-classes-australia/) - [About & teacher vetting](https://nurversequran.com/about/) - [FAQ](https://nurversequran.com/faq/) ## Guides - [How long does it take to learn the Quran online?](https://nurversequran.com/blog/how-long-does-it-take-to-learn-quran-online/): Most beginners learn to read Arabic letters (Noorani Qaida) in 3–6 months, read the Quran slowly within 6–9 months, and read fluently with basic Tajweed in 12–18 months — with 3–4 thirty-minute one-on-one classes a week. Memorising the whole Quran (Hifz) usually takes a further 2–5 years. - [How to choose an online Quran tutor — a 10-point checklist](https://nurversequran.com/blog/how-to-choose-an-online-quran-tutor/): Choose an online Quran tutor who has a verifiable Ijazah or Islamic-university qualification, teaches one-on-one, corrects pronunciation live, communicates clearly in your language, follows safeguarding rules, offers a free trial, and is transparent about pricing. Always take a trial class before paying. - [What is Noorani Qaida? A parent’s guide](https://nurversequran.com/blog/what-is-noorani-qaida/): Noorani Qaida is a step-by-step beginner’s book for learning to read the Quran. It teaches the Arabic alphabet, letter joining, vowel marks (Harakat), Tanween, Sukoon, Shaddah and basic Tajweed in about 17 lessons. Children can start from age 4, and most finish in 3–6 months with regular classes. ## FAQ ### How do online Quran classes work? Each class is a live, one-on-one video lesson on Zoom with a certified tutor. The tutor shares the lesson on screen, listens to every letter you read and corrects you in real time. Classes are 30 minutes (45–60 for weekend and Hifz plans) and scheduled in your local time zone. ### What age can my child start learning Quran online? Children can start from age 4 with Noorani Qaida. Lessons for 4–7 year-olds are short (20–30 minutes) and playful, focused on letter recognition. From around age 7, children can manage structured 30-minute lessons with applied Tajweed. ### Are the classes suitable for complete beginners? Yes. We start from the Arabic alphabet with Noorani Qaida, so no prior knowledge is needed — for children, adults and reverts alike. ### Are your teachers certified? Every NurVerse tutor holds an Ijazah or a degree from a recognised Islamic institution, and is vetted for Tajweed accuracy, teaching ability with children, and English communication before teaching. ### Can I choose a female Quran teacher? Yes. Female tutors (Ustadhas) are available for girls, sisters and women, and male tutors for boys and men. You choose your preference when you book. ### How much do online Quran classes cost? Plans start at $35 per month for 2 classes a week (about $4.40 per 30-minute class). Our most popular plan is $65 per month for 4 classes a week. Quarterly, 6-month, sibling and new-Muslim discounts are available. ### How does the free trial work? Book online and our coordinator contacts you on WhatsApp, usually within an hour. You get 3 complete free classes with a matched tutor. No card is required and there is no obligation to enrol. ### What do I need to get started? A stable internet connection and a laptop, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone. We use Zoom. All lesson materials are provided digitally. ### What time zones do you teach in? All of them. Classes are available across US, UK, Canadian and Australian time zones, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. ### What if we miss a class? Reschedule up to 12 hours in advance by WhatsApp at no cost. If a tutor is unavailable, a qualified substitute steps in so your learning never stops. ### How do parents track progress? Parents receive regular progress reports on WhatsApp, can sit in on any class, and higher plans include session recordings and weekly reports. ### Can I switch plans or cancel? Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel at the start of any billing month by sending us a WhatsApp message. There are no long-term contracts.
